Image consulting – color tips

May 1st, 2012 by Denise Levine

One of the best ways to update your wardrobe is to add a pop of color. Listen up men…spring is the perfect time to get bold and add color to   business attire. Tips for color:

1. Use bold color sparingly if you’ve never experimented with it before.

    2. MEN: Keep the shirt and suit neutral or dark and wear a bold color tie. Try a color shirt with a neutral or dark tie. Getting brave? Introduce a    bold color pair of socks.

      3. WOMEN: Step into bold colors by wearing 1 item of clothing, or 1 accessory in that color. Try a dark pair of jeans, white tee shirt, and orange purse, for instance. Then try 1 of those gorgeous colored jeans or capris in something like a bright green, with a white shirt  and yellow earrings.

A pop of color near the face and on the lower body is a great way to get comfortable with color.
